Next extend the same Device Lifecycle Hub app; do not create a replacement app or reset/reseed its saved business data. Preserve all original IDs, existing lines and any saved draft created since the first stage. Keep the read-only Office 365 Users Profile integration.

VIRTUAL APPROVALS
Add an Approvals screen and related ApprovalHistory table. Migrate existing Submitted requests to Pending manager without changing their IDs, lines or totals. A manager approves/rejects Pending manager requests; approval moves totals above GBP 1,000 to Pending finance and totals at or below GBP 1,000 to Approved. Finance approves/rejects only Pending finance. Requesters cannot approve their own requests. Require a nonempty decision comment for rejection. Terminal decisions cannot be repeated. Each transition records actor persona, prior/new status, timestamp and comment in both the request timeline and approval history. New submissions follow the same rules. This is entirely simulated; no Power Automate approvals, email, Teams or real transactions.

ASSET LIFECYCLE
Add an Assets screen and related Assets table with an assignment/return form. Only Alex Rivera, the synthetic asset administrator, can fulfil an Approved request. Fulfilment must revalidate all line quantities against current stock and either allocate the whole request or change nothing. Deduct stock exactly once, create one asset record per physical unit linked to its request/device/requester with a stable asset ID, and mark the request Fulfilled. Duplicate fulfilment must not be possible. Returning an assigned asset requires a condition selection (Good or Damaged) and a comment. Mark it Returned, record activity, and restore one available unit only for Good condition; a second return cannot change stock again. No real inventory or business data sources.

THEMES AND PROFILE FORM
Add an explicit Light/Dark appearance control on the real Profile page, applying immediately to every screen, form, table, status, dialog and navigation element. Use consistent theme variables, readable contrast and Segoe UI/Aptos typography with warm neutral surfaces and a rose accent. Persist the choice within this private app across reopening.
Add a local preferences form for default demo department (Engineering/Operations) and compact/comfortable density, with Save and Cancel. Label these as local demo preferences, not a directory edit; never write to Office 365 Users. Cancel discards unsaved preference edits.

Update Overview to reflect live virtual statuses, pending value, stock and assigned assets; keep request/catalogue filters and multi-line editing usable. Keep every original screen and a clear way back from details. Implement only these changes, not a separate review/audit or extra test records. Report actual limitations briefly.
